[ Home | About Coastal Kids | Services | Opportunities ]

Respite (res·pite)
n.
A usually short interval of rest or relief.

In-home Respite may be used for a variety of reasons:

  1. A chance to go shopping, dinner, or a movie.
  2. To spend quality time with a spouse or with other children.
  3. To have some private time.
Parents who take advantage of the program findrelationships within their family unit greatly enhanced because they have had the time to feel "refreshed".
